MBA Preparation

CAT (Common Admission Test)

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based examination conducted annually in India. It assesses candidates on key areas such as Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VA-RC), Data Interpretation (DI), and Logical Reasoning (LR). Originally introduced by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the CAT serves as a primary criterion for selecting students for their business administration programs. The responsibility of organizing the exam rotates each year among the IIMs, following a predefined policy.

CMAT(Common Management Admission Test)

NMAT (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Admission Test)

NMAT by GMAC is a national-level MBA entrance exam for admission to renowned management colleges such as Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), XIM University, TAPMI Manipal, IFMR etc. A computer-based test, NMAT by GMAC at multiple locations across India, and the aspirants have the right to choose their own exam venue/date/time as per convenience.

XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level management aptitude test. It is conducted by Xavier School of Management, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) – Jamshedpur. XLRI conducts the exam on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). XAT scores are used by more than 800 institutes for admission to MBA, PGDM and other management courses.

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test)

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a national-level management entrance examination, conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU). SNAP test scores are valid for admission to 16 institutes under SIU.

MH CET (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test)

MH CET

MAH CET for admission to MBA/MMS courses in 400 Maharashtra MBA colleges is an online computer based exam of 2½ hours (150 minutes) duration. The exam consists of 200 questions in MCQ format. The best part is that there is no negative marking in the DTE MAH MBA/MMS CET entrance exam. The exam is the gateway to MBA/MMS 2018-20 batch in JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, Welingkar, SIES and other 400 MBA colleges in Maharashtra. 15% to 35% seat allocation is available for All India candidates appearing in MAH-CET exam. These candidates will also be offered admission on the basis of their scores in other All India MBA entrance exams – CAT, XAT and CMAT. All the top MBA colleges in Maharashtra including JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE, PUMBA, who are participating in CAP round, will offer admission in accordance with seat matrix and B-school allotment through DTE-CAP.
